A Utah Jazz player came to the elementary because of the oodles of minutes the school read for the Jazz Read-a-thon. Hannah and Abe came home so excited yesterday and told us all about the assembly... only, they couldn't remember which player it was that came.
Finally today they were sent home with an autographed photo of Ronnie Price. Hannah exclaimed, "Look! He even signed his name in Chinese!" (really he just wrote his autograph super scribbly.)
A few weeks ago Hannah was telling me about the other girls at school and how they didn't think girls should play basketball. And Hannah said something like, "Like... in the 1900s girls didn't even play basketball, but I want to play basketball because I am tough."

That is GREAT that your kids read so much! And why did Ronnie Jackson sign his name in Chinese? That is too funny. We love basketball at our house too! There is always one bouncing in one room or another. Do your kids ever fight? Because they always look so smiley and happy and I just can't imagine it. They emanate sunshine! What is your secret? We need it at our house! :)
My hubby loves to play ball too. Only he plays at night. But the guys here also play three mornings a week at 5:30am. Good form of exercise and stress relief!
Your kids are SO cute!
I love this post! Basketball is a little rough, sometimes, but it is really fun, too.
