These are my TULIPS!!! Can I tell you how chipper this makes me feel? This means spring is coming. Hurray! Last fall (two days before we had Truman) the kids and I planted 50 bulbs in the flower bed. And here they are - in all their glory.Today when Max and I walked to the corner to meet Hannah from the bus, we saw teeny tiny bits of green grass. This thought came to mind:

Oh yes... we love Spring. My soul sings... and even in wintertime there is always HOPE!

ahem, what i MEANT to say there, was YAY for you!!! i'm so glad you have tulips peeking out of your beautiful, sunny woodchips that you can see on this mid-febuary day. how exciting! aren't you glad you planted them when you were either super-pregnant or had a barely newborn baby? (what? - how on top of things were you?) GO heather!!!
Heather, I am trying to be excited for you but I am buried in snow!

Ah Mary and Lexie...you two are just in the land of the lost. :) We have had temps of over 50 degrees, sunny and lovely the past 2 weeks. We are halfway to spring here too. Sorry. :)
