a bit of Jane Austen

Forget the Superbowl ... we've got Emma to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed the new long version of Emma from BBC that aired on PBS the past 3 Sundays.

Emma is a bit of a pill sometimes, I admit ... but Mr. Knightly sure is a keeper, isn't he?! "Badly done Emma. Badly done!"

I especially loved the music. Take a little listen here.

Here is the promo video which shows a little glimpse:

Now - to look forward to Persuasion in a few weeks.

"The one claim I shall make for my own sex is that we love longest, when all hope is gone." Anne Elliott

I love PBS!! And the best part is that you can watch it online. . .which is a HUGE one for me since I no longer get TV. I finished watching Emma - part 1 last night. I did not know about Persuasion. SO EXCITED!!!!!

ahhhhh! I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOVE Emma! Mr. Knightly is the only guy besides my husband that I go gaa gaa over! I missed the first week of this, but loved the last two.
Have you watched the "lost in Austen"? It is really fun, too!

I LOVED this version! The only sad thing is that our DVR skipped that last one! I was in trauma yesterday when I realized I didn't get to see the end. Is there a way to buy this anywhere on DVD? I absolutely loved it. And the music was absolutely beautiful wasn't it. Can't wait for Persuasion.

Okay, I just saw Tricia's comment. I'll have to watch that last one online. Hooray for the computer. :)
