Month of Gratitude 2009

Last year during the month of November I participated in a month of Gratitude - ABC Style. I loved doing it because it helped me think of something every day that I was grateful for.

This year I want to involve my family in our Month of Gratitude here on the Bloggie. Instead of doing ABC's, I think we'll do random daily Gratitudes.

I'm so excited about this!

Hannah: Food. "Food at the cafeteria." (i love that. she is so funny about school lunch!) Homemade cookies for an after-school snack.

Heather: Max took a nap! Seriously - a needed break for me. Plus, it makes for a pleasant Max when he wakes up. I wish this kid would take a nap every day.

Abe: Having my friend Garrett come over to play. (seriously - this kid has been begging me for a month to get to play with a friend. today was that day!)

Max: Candy! This kid rejoiced the moment we introduced candy to him. And he seems to be delighted in all the Halloween treats. He asks for candy all day long. Don't worry - we don't give it to him all day long!

Truman: (Can I guess his?) Sleep. Sleep. and more Sleep.

Other Gratitude ideas: My cousin Julie emailed a link to a fun Thanksgiving Countdown. I'm not up for an activity every day, but I wanted to incorporate some of these into our November.

Once again I will tell you how I love your blog, thanks for sharing you, your life and your family! How sweet to get that little one here and I am glad to hear that you are doing better! We are also in a month of gratitude at our house. What a wonderful time of year.

Quick question for you. Back in July when you posted about your friends version of a simplified Christmas with the 3 gifts, I fell in LOVE with the idea and am so excited to do it with my family. I have told some friends about it and they also are all about simplifying. I want to be respectful to your friend, is this something that she doesn't mind sharing with others. There is a pdf version of her three gift idea. Would she mind if I share that with others?

Alright you have a beautiful day!
