But on Thursday morning, we were able to come home and the kids were elated. Max surprised me and was very interested and excited about the Baby. He called him "Tooty" for Truman. He mostly bawled his eyes out if anyone else got a turn to hold him.
Hannah and Abe loved holding Truman for the first time. It was so cute to see their expressions of delight and love.
The kids are adjusting to all the change pretty well. I think Max is trying to act like the other kids and likes to act like we're having conversations. He still wants mom to hold him and carry him around (which I just physically can't do) so that is hard for him. I just have him sit on my lap instead.
Anyhoo... life as a family of 6. We'll see how we do!

Oh Heather, what a beautiful boy! Good luck and I am hoping you have a speedy recovery. I must be getting old.......I can't even think about the c section! But, it is well worth it. ;) Congratulations to you all!
