Today is my biRthDay - Shout Hurray!

Today I am 33. Wahoo! Seth (janey's husband) has declared that 33 is the perfect age so I guess I've ARRIVED. Arrived where, I'm not sure.  But I'm there!

So let's ceLeBRate.

I think the fun part about birthdays is the celebration of life, memories, family. For personal history sake:  let's begin by sharing a photo of my family (minus mom and dad, of course) when I was a wee little babe. I love this photo!  It shows where my mighty Max gets his pigeon-toed feet from.

I wanted to write 33 random memories of my life, but I won't extend this post with that. I do enjoy thinking about my lifetime of  fun memories with my siblings, friends, roommates, and my own little family.

As a kiddo we went to California for a vacation to visit my grandparents. I think this was one of the only times I enjoyed playing in the mud.  I was a clean freak when I was little and washed my hands obsessively.  Oops!  I also got this darling tutu in California and I think my white hair, and white legs probably blinded everybody. Fun times!

I have a lot of fun birthday memories from growing up. My mom and dad had fun traditions to make it a special day. I always appreciate their efforts to make birthdays so nice. Thanks parents ~ especially for making my day today!

Soooo... ready for a quickie celebration?

Welcome to my blog birthday party.

Let's play some games and eat some food. I'm going for fresh pineapple. You may have to bring your own treats as virtual food doesn't taste as good.

In honor of all the times we played video games up at Ricks with my dad, let's start out with the game. Go PacMan!

Whoever ends up with the high score wins a prize. I'm not sure what prize, but I'll think of something grand like a bag of m&m's or something tasty.   Post your score in the comments and we'll keep the fun going all weekend long. (yah - I know we all have LOTS of time to play pacman).

Alrighty then!  Great! Ok!  ~ party over. Thanks for coming and celebrating with me.

p.s.  I started this post early this morning and am finishing it after a short date with Jimmy to CPK. It was a busy day with mothering. Hannah is feeling 90% better.  Max is still the needy boogie baby.  The kids sang me Happy Birthday Cha-cha-cha style during a breakfast of pumpkin pancakes and Hannah drew me a nice card.  Abe gave me lots of hugs and overall, we had a nice day at home.

Thanks everyone for the birthday greetings... especially Facebook rocked on that. It's always nice to be remembered, isn't it.

Here's to another year down and many, many, many more adventurous years to come!

Happy Day Heather. I miss you blog coming up on Google Reader. So I am a little late with my birthday wishes. I had fun with the Pac-Man game.

Did people really score that high? I was feeling good about 5,320. :>

Ok, I am totally coming back to give pacman a whirl...I rock at that game (or atleast I use to) But for now, I just wanted to wish you a happy happy day.
I am going to say it was the fourth grade (not super sure) but I remember celebrating one of your b-days with you. We had cake at your house and then went to see Rocky IV??? Is that right...or did I totally make that story up?

Oh, and thanks for sending me that clip art. It was lots of help!

Okay, I'm a loser because I had to play until I beat Seth and Jeff. My new high? 36,980. I'm not competitive at all.

7360 was my score - not bad for only one game I'd say. Thanks for putting that on your blog and all those other links. When I get bored tomorrow I'm sure I'll be playing them all and showing the kids. I hope your birthday was happy even with sick kids and the regular every day stuff you have to do. You are the best! Love ya like a sister!

Happy Belated Birthday! I obviously haven't checked facebook for blogs enough. I hope you had a great day. I didn't realize that you and Almy share a B-day, I will definately remember that now. So Happy B-day again. I'll be 33 in a couple weeks, I can't wait til I have arrived as well, whatever that is.
