Sustainable Happiness

I saw this article {10 Things Science Says Will Make You Happy} by Jen Angel (Yes Magazine)

It's a great list of ways to smash the blues!

My favorites:

And to inspire me to hop back on my treadmill:

My 2 additions to the list ~ (the part science will never admit to but are EVERLASTINGLY essential for True Joy):

1 - "Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities." {The Family:A Proclamation to the World} (I'm so grateful for modern-day revelation)

2 -
"If you want to be happy,
be good."

My Great Grandma Ellen Blanche Hatch Nelson

(When I asked Hannah the best way to be happy, she said, 'choosing the right.' I hope my kids will always remember, remember, remember that!!!)

those are great reminders Heather. I need to be better about the exercise. I know it makes me feel better I just can't get unlazy and do it.

This is the coolest, most uplifting thing I've read all week. Thanks, Heath!
