Acknowledging sunshine

There is sun!!!  It lives.  It shines.  It's bright.  I need sunglasses in wintertime.  Amazing!

When I had to squint this morning, I realized I hadn't done that in a while.

Rejoice - there is SUNSHINE in the air - cold air - but SUNSHINE.

The roads are finally clearing and I see a little black pavement.

Because I whined about the weather yesterday I thought I should give the SUNSHINE some credit today.

We were going to bundle up and walk to the bus stop to get our vitamin D for the day, but I didn't think the stroller would do well off-roading on the unshoveled sidewalks.  Shoveling the slushy ice off the driveway will have to do for my 10 minutes of setting sun.  "Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy!"

I made Scandinavian Fruit Soup for a snack. That dish is like sunshine to me. Max likes it too. Not Hannah. Not Abe.

Sooo... our spirits brightened with the sunshine. We opened the curtains and it's good. It's still cold, but at least the sun shines.

"There is sunshine in my soul today! ... glorious and bright."

Oh my, I left Utah yesterday and I was so ready to get out of the snow. I was in need of some sunshine. Glad you it finally came out.
