When Hannah was a wee babe, Jimmy and I wrote a few mini quiet books to give as gifts. I've recently updated them so each page can be printed as a 4x6 photo or can be inserted in a word doc to print yourself.
I thought I'd post them on my {Picassa Web Album} if anyone else is interested in them. You can download the images which are original size.
The newest book is a Latter-day Prophets book. It is a big one and most of the text and photos I got from {The Church History Prophets Site}. Some pages are too wordy for the littlest ones so you could pick-n-choose on that one.
I know they now have the most beautiful church books for kids at Deseret Book so these books are slightly old-fashioned. They aren't perfect either but they sure are fun to create. These would make an inexpensive easy gift for cousins or friends ... or for the tots in Sacrament meeting.
You can either spiral bind these with a clear cover (find a cheap local store to do this - Kinko's is way too expensive on binding. Here in Lehi I can get one done for $2.50) OR put in a 4x6 photo book.
p.s. disclaimer: Since I know who you all are!!!, please don't start some mass email to the entire world with the images or links attached. Pretty please! I don't mind at all if you use them for personal use or share with close family and friends. Just want to keep things honest with copyrights ya know and not have some stranger start selling them or something weird.

Holy cow,
I think you are about the coolest person in the world!!! I would love to have something like this for when I have kids. Thank you so much!!!
These are beautiful Heather! I think I'll use some of them for some fun cousin gifts. Thanks for sharing!
These are great, Heather. Totally doesn't surprise me that you are sharing the love...it's just who you are...and what better time to do it than at Christmas. Can't wait to print these up!
Thanks Heather! I love all of your ideas!
We printed your older versions out a few years ago and Jasper loves them. We did the Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, the Sunday Book and the song books.
Do you print them on cardstock when you get them bound? I seriously think I would have to laminate them so they would not be destroyed by drool and tiny fingers.
I have the other ones we did in the 4 x 6 albums. They work fine, but the 4 x 6 albums are a little flimsy.
I appreciate you making it so we can print them as 4 x 6 prints at Costco, because it did take a while to cut out all the pages.
you are so talented, heathero--what a great thing to do and share. i love the family pic of you at top, by the way. have i told you i have a nephew that looks SO much like your Max? i need to email you some pictures.
thank you for sharing your talent with others - ie. letting us make copies of what you have put so much time and effort into.
By the way, where do you get all the pictures from? - just off the internet somewhere, or do you digitize stuff you have or what?
It would be nice to have a database of pictures to work from when I do projects.
