The babe is ONE

Exactly ONE year ago at this very moment (accounting for the time difference between Lehi and Memphis), Maxwell was born. He had the saddest little cry and poutiest little lip I'd ever seen.

Since then he has brightened his outlook on life & is pretty chipper (save those intense teething moments).

This is his year in review - photo style.

He really doesn't look much different except for

blonder hair,

more teeth,

funnier expressions,

and a few extra pounds.

Here's what he's up to lately:

~pinches my neck when he's frustrated (ouch!)

~quickly comes crawling when he hears the dishwasher

~clacks his tongue so loud

~laughs when anyone else laughs

~smiles a mile wide

~opens all the cupboards and drawers in the house (who needs a puppy when you have a one-year-old)

~has ventured into taking baby steps (one or two on his own)

Here are 2 videos of all his funny noises. Between the clack, the smack, the laugh, the guffaw, the growl (that's a new one), the 'gudunga-dunga' gargle he has quite the performance going for him.
