A Month of Gratitude

I saw this idea on Angela's blog and thought I'd try it. The idea is to each day using a letter of the alphabet note something you are grateful for that begins with that letter. Since I'm starting late, I'll cut out the difficult letters when I get to them.

I am grateful for ABE. While I was feeding Max lunch, Abe gave me a mini backrub (without me asking for it too). I've been feeling grouchy and on-edge this week and his kindness reminded me to be patient. Tonight he was overjoyed when I was willing to read his homemade planet heroes book. I could tell by his excitement that he was grateful that I spent extra time just with him. I sure like Abe!!!

"Gratitude is a Spirit‑filled principle. It opens our minds to a universe permeated with the richness of a living God. Through it, we become spiritually aware of the wonder of the smallest things, which gladden our hearts with their messages of God's love. This grateful awareness heightens our sensitivity to divine direction. When we communicate gratitude, we can be filled with the Spirit and connected to those around us and the Lord. Gratitude inspires happiness and carries divine influence."
