It's all about Pomegranate

I'm not really one to be up on all the trends out there. But this one has caught my eye and I'm noticing it's everywhere.

The Pomegranate

It's interesting how trends change... they come... they go.  Remember little Amy March in Little Women:
"Why, I owe at least a dozen pickled limes, and I can't pay them, you know, till I have money, for Marmee forbade my having anything charged at the shop."

"Tell me all about it.
Are limes the fashion now? It used to be pricking bits of rubber to make balls." And Meg tried to keep her countenance, Amy looked so grave and important.

"Why, you see, the girls are always buying them, and unless you want to be thought mean, you must do it too.
It's nothing but limes now."

So ... here we have The Pomegranate Yogurt
(have to say I love these new yogurt shops that have fresh fruit as toppings.
Love raspberries and pineapple on peach yogurt)

The Pomegranate Chocolate covered
(available at Walmart a little bird told me)

The Pomegranate Soda - we like this flavor actually.

Izze's always cute.

The Pomegranate Juice

Since November is

I thought I'd share the link to the history and health benefits of
The Pomegranate as seen on

I don't know that I will always be aware of fruity trends, but I'm waiting for the pear thing. Or did I miss the pear thing? Aren't pears the yummiest.  And I still am liking the cranberry thing - go Craisins!

For now, we'll enjoy The Pomegranate in all it's bright and festive red color.

Thanks for sharing I never knew all those different pomegranate things were around... When I was little I loved pomegranate's, I always thought it was fun to dig out the seeds :) I haven't had one in a long time... so I think I will go to the store :}

I wasn't aware of all that pomegranate stuff! I want to try the 7-up and the yogurt. The only time I ate a real one was in Jerusalem they grew on trees on the balcony outside our room. So pomegranates remind me of the Holy Land. I better get one so my kids can see what they are like. Thanks for the fun flavors!
