Date night might not seem like a big enough deal to blog about... but since we haven't been on a date in months, I was really (really, really!!) excited to get out without the kiddos. Now that we finally have some YW in the ward to babysit, maybe we'll get out more often.
Last night we went to the Peter Breinholt concert at the Sandy Amphitheater. With just $8 for Grass tickets we figured it would be a fun outdoor break from normal life. It was great to be outdoors in the nice Utah evening air and to be with Jimmy.
I loved seeing the Children's Choir from Africa. They did some breakdance moves during one of Peter's songs and it was so funny to see how much they were enjoying themselves.
I'm sure Peter Breinholt is such the music from the past (as our babysitter didn't even know who he was). But he has some fun tunes. He busted out some 80s tunes and it was so funny to hear from that era.
The last time I heard Peter in concert was at Sundance in Sept 2000 with Jimmy when we were dating. We had climbed to the top of Mt. Timp that day and my eyes were extremely sunburned. Oh the Memories!
