Ordinary people who INSPIRE

I have been checking the blog of Randy Pausch ever since I heard his last lecture video. But I didn't hear about his passing last week of pancreatic cancer until I read Amy's blog about his book.

I guess I just want to note some of those ordinary people who CHOOSE to do extraordinary things.

Didn't Randy do a great job of LIVING BRIGHTLY even in his tragic circumstance. I hope I could be as courageous as he was. I really do want to read his book. Here's an excerpt by the publisher.

This quote is a reminder to me that all of us ordinary people are doing extraordinary things in simple and quiet ways. I think we just need to recognize the good that we are doing in our little part of the world.
"There is no end in sight for the good you can do. The work of the world isn't done by geniuses. It is done by ordinary people who have learned to work in an extraordinary way." Gordon B. Hinckley

His is such a touching story. It is so amazing what he did to leave a positive impact on his family and the world. President Hinckley himself was an example of an ordinary man leading an extraordinary life.
