R - u - s - s - e - L the Abe

Abraham Russel that is.

Race cars - Abraham loves to play with his cars. He lines them up, he begs us to race them on the kitchen floor with him, he totes them in his backpack... he loves his race cars.

Uhhhh... what more can I say about this kiddo? He does a great job at spatial tasks like gluing sticks on paper in a pattern. He doesn't enjoy coloring or drawing for longer than about 2 minutes. He loves laughing and running around. He loves carbs, carbs, and more carbs. He doesn't drink milk or like ice cream (except in a social ice-cream party situation). He does a great job playing Cars 'Memory' game.

Silly. Abe has been chuckling at everything today... especially laughing at himself thinking everything he says is so funny. We love being silly around here!

Sucking thumb. Abe loves sucking his thumb with his blue basketball blanket. He only sucks it with his blanket so it's only to go to sleep at night. We've talked about when he turns 4 that there is no more thumb sucking. We'll see how that goes over!

Energy. We're not sure where he gets all his energy since he doesn't eat that much, but the boy has energy. When we went to the volleyball game at the BYU fieldhouse we let him run and run and run around the indoor track. He loved it. His cooped up energy becomes wiggles, especially at church.

Loving. Abe is great at giving big hugs and smooshy or smacky kisses to me. I love that he has a tender sweet side.
