Quirky = "a peculiar trait"...
I was tagged on sharing 6 quirky things about myself. Hmmm... only 6 eh?
I love Baby feet. I can't get enough of kissing Max's soft feet. I even love to smell them when they are stinky. My love of baby feet does not - however - extend beyond toddlerhood.
Overall - I'm not a big fan of food. I think I get too weirded out by some meats. Given - I love treats but I don't enjoy many of my own home-cooked dinners. I would enjoy a Ruth's Chris Petite Fillet though (ok - realistically a nice steak without a bunch of fat). Someday when Jimmy and I create our world, I'm thinking that food won't be a necessary thing - just optional... is that going against all natural laws?
I'm extremely pigeon-toed. Jimmy can't believe that so many standing positions are comfortable for me with my feet turned inward so much.
I say things like libary (forgetting the other 'r'), celry (forgetting the other 'e'), nother (rather than other), acrossed (yeah - not a word). Mr. Thomas would not be pleased.
I am quite dysfunctional at reading maps. I never had to read maps until 2001 when we moved to Florida. Growing up in Sugar City, I probably only knew the streets I lived on. And in Rexburg, the only street I knew the name of was Main. It really just wasn't necessary to know street names because you could just say, "It's by Schofields... or by the church... or it's by McDonalds... etc.". But since I moved to bigger cities like Ft. Lauderdale, reading a map became necessary. I just get turned around especially if the map isn't turned the exact way that I'm driving. Turn right... wait - it's left... wait it's right... ahhhh!
Yes - I'm a control freak. When we watch movies, I must have the remote in hand so I can turn it up and down about 50 bazillion times. I turn it down when the music is too loud... and then I have to turn it back up to hear the speaking parts.
