Where else would you hear "I am a Child of God" on the radio? Where else would the morning radio host share the daily quote and scripture from "Stand a Little Taller" by President Hinckley every morning? Where else would you hear a quote on the radio from "Good, Better, Best" talk by Dallin H. Oaks?
Ok - well, I can think of a few other locations where you might hear all those things - like South East Idaho. Anyhoo - in the past week I've been reminded of the importance of surrounding yourself with good things and AM820 was a good thing while running errands on Saturday.
This quote by Dallin H. Oaks has been fresh in my mind since I heard it again on Saturday. I wish I were better at applying all these principles in my life - and turning them into action rather than mere thoughts. I'm a work in progress I suppose. Here is his encouraging reminder.Isn't that happy grass? It has nothing to do with good, better, best but it is just plain happy grass. Spring - oh - spring where are you?

That was one of my most favorite conference talks. It is so easy to justify many things because they ARE good to do. But there are so many things that are BETTER. Thanks for the reminder!
I LOVE the grass. And I need to seek to to the better thing, too. Very nice thoughts, Heath!
