The Mysterious Playground Pebbles

Today Hannah came home from preschool with 15 pebbles in her hair. Now, I could see sand or plant fuzzies, but pebbles? How do you get pebbles stuck in your hair? Yesterday she came home with a truckload of sand and pebbles in her shoes. Ouch! These kids sure must have fun when they play outside at preschool. The first item of business when the kids walk in the door is to take a bath. There's nothing like a clean little kiddo to snuggle and kiss.

Oh how funny! How does her pretty hair hold rocks!?! The days Lise has gym/dance (which is held in the gym/lunchroom) she always has some funky food stuck to her shirt. Remember the sticky peach juice? Ewwww. Glad our old elem. school smells EXACTLY the same. Weird flashbacks.

Hi Heather! This is Katie (Wilson) Hughes from Academy. I love getting updates on your blog! It is so darling!

I didn't realize kids could gather so much sand and pebbles in their shoes until I moved to AZ. Not a day goes by that my kids don't come home with a pile of sand in their shoes. We could fill buckets with the stuff! YUCK!
