Tagged by Meg

My friend Meg tagged me from her bloggie. Don't get too bored with my eternally long answers.

1) What was I doing ten years ago- In September of 1997 -Working at the Engineering Department at BYU. Going to school part-time at night for my Family Science Human Development degree. Living in the dungeon of an apartment with Stephanie, JoHanna, Stacey, Angela, and who was that other girl that wouldn't share her yummy recipes with us...Emily? Meeting fun FHE sisters like Kierstin who always said, "Oh, my heart!" Singing 'the Star Spangled Banner' & 'You Light up my Life' along with LeAnn Reim every morning as I got ready. Sorry about that roommates...

2) Five years ago was September 2002- Living in Sunrise, Florida. Married almost 2 years. Had just purchased 1st townhome. Eight months pregnant with Hannah Mae. Almost getting used to humidity...almost!

3) One year ago was September 2006- Living in good ol Tennessee! Running around after a 3-year-old Hannah and 2 year old Abe. Basically doing what I'm doing now, except I wasn't pregnant. Preparing myself for tornado season. I really get scared of tornadoes - believe me!

4)Yesterday September 17, 2007: Winning the grouchy mom award by being impatient with my doddling 3 year old. Let's not do that over again!

5) Snacks I enjoy: Raspberry and dark chocolate anything. Popcorn, caramel and apples slices, hot chocolate. Hmmmm, anything healthy? Oh yeah, ruby red grapefruit, tasty fresh peaches, sweet juicy clementines, and fresh pineapple.

6) Things I would do if suddenly I had a $100 million dollars: If I had a million dollars, I'd buy me a fur coat. Isn't that a song? Really, I'd buy a new mattress and a car for Jimmy. Then I'd become debt free...yippee! Then I'd buy a nice leather couch set. I might have to upgrade my carpets and carpet padding too so my knees don't get so sore. And I'm thinkin' saving for future use is a good idea.

7)Locations I would run away to: I ask Jimmy all the time if he wants to run away with me. But where would we go?... Scotland, England, Nova Scotia, Idaho, Australia, Hawaii, Norway... but then we'd be glad to come home to our kiddos and be done with running away. For what would little Hannah Mae & Abe the Babe do without us?!

8) Bad Habits I have: Oh, let's see here... disregarding dirty dishes and piles of laundry... Saying 'just a minute' to my kids and they always wonder when a minute is. Using the ellipse (dot-dot-dot) improperly. It sure is fun though... More, but let's not dwell on the negative...

9) Things I like doing: Blogging... great journaling for me. Digital scrapbooking. Dates with Jimmy. Talking to friends and family. Hiking in the mountains in fresh air and no humidity. Watching the sunset and stars (doesn't happen too much these days). Reading. Fun adventures with my family.

10) T.V. shows I like: ABC's Home Makeover. Yep, that's the only one. I cry almost every time...just ask Jimmy.

11) Things I don't like doing: Being a grouch! Household tasks when I'm super tired.

12) Biggest joys of the moment: Baby #3 is pretty exciting. I love feeling him squirm and move...even when it's a boxing match inside. Hannah's light in her eyes when she is really excited about something. Abe saying 'I love you mom' and when he actually holds still on my lap for me to rock and sing songs. Jimmy asking how my day was and then helping with the household tasks. The simple moments are my greatest joys!

Heather, So cute. I love all your answers. What a fun thing to do for your personal history. I might have to copy and pretend you tagged me or something. :) You are such a sweetheart. I just love you to pieces.

I love you, too, Heath! So is the official name of the ..., elipse? Cool.

For the record, it was Sue Speed that wouldn't share her peanut butter bar recipe with us! Remember how she would just watch movies all night long? Funny, funny days. I was sure glad to have you as MY roommate!!!
