Today when the kids were at preschool I was really missing them. The house was sooooo quiet (which was nice, I admit), but somehow I was sort of lonesome. Mostly I was feeling so grateful for the blessed life I live to have such wonderful kids and husband and wanted them around so I could express that to them. I'm not one who watches the news but maybe once a month, but today I read some articles on foxnews.com. I was horrified to read about choices that some make in this world, but also challenges that innocent people in this world have to face. I wonder how there can be so much wickedness in this world. And it makes me realize how essential it is to teach our children righteous principles. So today I am grateful for my family and the many blessings I have in my life. I made these scrapbook pages the other day, but Janey wanted me to share them on the bloggie. Especially Abe's reminded me that even with the rambunctiousness of kids, I feel so grateful to have so much love for and from them (plus that song always reminds me of Grandma Nelson since she always had it on her piano)
