Let's just pretend for a moment

Autumn has not yet arrived in Tennessee. Sigh... Alas... So today I'm going to visualize a chilly Autumn day, me in a snuggly sweater reading a good book, the leaves golden, red, and orange outside in my forest, and a roasty toasty fire. See why I have to pretend. Really it is sunny 85 degrees outside (which actually is mostly pleasant really!). But since it seems to be Autumn already in so many places, I've been thinking of some of my favorite autumn treats. I made Apple Crisp this week and I loved it. And I've wanted to try these new Caramel Bits from Kraft (thanks for the tip Sally). I'll try to enjoy the rest of summer here, but just for a moment I'll put myself in a cozy imaginery Autumn world and enjoy some festive foods.

I like your new header. Gosh, who's the photographer of you and Jimmy's photo? That's good!

I love your new Fall look! I would love to enjoy some 85 degree weather right now. This morning is cold and gray and drizzily. But I guess cozy inside. What a pretty fall painting, and what fun treats! I, too, want to try those caramel bits. I have some great recipes that call for caramel but haven't made them for awhile because I haven't wanted to unwrap all those caramels. Someone was really thinking when they invented these! Yay!

You'll be enjoying Fall when we are well into our winter. That will be nice for me to read your blog and enjoy Fall all over again. Carmel Apples sound divine right now. Too bad i don't have any carmel. . . but perhaps tomorrow Hy and I will have to make a walmart run.

love you.
