Can I just say that for like 2 years I've been super excited and in great hopes and anticipation that perhaps I might be able to attend the open house of the Rexburg temple. I just really, really wanted to take Hannah and be there with my fam. I think Hannah especially would love seeing the inside of a temple and think it so lovely and extra special because she is so cute about getting married there someday. There aren't too many opportunities to go to an open house so I was hoping it would work out. But alas... they just announced the dates are the end of December to the end of January. Not that I was certain that I could attend anyway...but now with our baby making his arrival the end of December, I for certain am not making the trek to Idaho in the middle of winter with a new baby when I am still recovering from a c-section. So - all of you Idaho folk, you must enjoy this experience 1,000 times more because you'll need to cherish it for me and Hannah too. Alas... we can't always do everything we want in life, but somehow we all survive.

I know what you mean Heather...I feel like that with lots in life! I heard the dates yesterday at church and I thought about taking my kids...what a neat experience that would be! Anyway, I don't think I have said CONGRATS on your new little boy coming! That is so great, I am happy for you! I had my little girl on Dec 20th...a good time of year to have a baby. :)
That's so sad how the timing worked out! I know you've been wanting to come for a long time! We will enjoy it extra for you and Hannah! And I'll think of you enjoying a brand new babe. You can enjoy those moments for me.
We share your disappointment, Heather. We will probably move in October and doubt that a trip out in January will be possible, but we might hold out a little bit o' hope. LOVE this photo...lots of people are taking photos over there lately in the early AM or anytime.
