About 3 weeks ago Abe saw the 'Mack' truck toy (from the movie Cars) in the store. He came up with this great idea for us to "buy Mack". Every five minutes he would ask about buying Mack and so considered getting it for him for Christmas. Then I wondered if I would go crazy hearing him ask about Mack every five minutes for 5 months. At that same time, Abe had conquered going pee-pee in the potty so we were working on pooping in the potty(not going too swell). So we decided Mack could be his prize for mastering all the potty skills. So we printed out a big picture of Mack and I cut it into a puzzle. Every time he went poop in the potty he could put a piece on the puzzle. And every time he had an accident, he had to take a piece off (which only happened once). So after 9 pieces and 3 weeks, he finally put his puzzle piece on Mack today. He was jumping up and down for a few hours until we went to the store to get Mack. Abe was quite proud of himself and I am glad because I think he is pretty much potty-trained. (after only 1 really intense, grueling, and emotional week for this mama and a few other weeks to get things down). Congrats little buddy at earning your Mack Truck. He's had a blast playing with him today and singing 'Life is a highway' with Lightning McQueen and Mack.

Heath, What a great idea! I love it!!!! I wish I would've thought of something like that for Porter. I love that Abe loves Mack and that you made a puzzle for him. What a great way to help him earn it so he can experience looking forward to it and working for it. So cute!!! Great job being a great mom!
Heather, you are so creative! Love the puzzle idea. Not that I'll ever potty train again, but I may need to use that idea for other things. Way to go Abe. Can Kyle come play with you and Mack?
