Don't mop with your eyebrow!

I don't know if you remember my excitement over my new mop a few months ago. Well - I still love it. I was using the new pads and the solution but an old mop that was a different brand. Well - that mop stick finally broke so I bought the o-mop so now I have the entire set. I love it. Last week I was trying to have the kids help with the chores so I asked Abe to vacuum the hard wood floor... well, he did okay until I heard him with the hose suctioning his skin and laughing so hard, and then I had visions of him suctioning his eyeball out on accident. So I put Hannah on vacuum duty and she did a splendid job. So I thought maybe mopping would be a safer activity for Abe... except for that he wouldn't listen when I told him to walk where it was dry. Hence, he slipped in his bare feet and bonked his eyebrow bone on the tile floor. He was eventually okay after having some apple juice and snuggling with his blanket. So in the end, perhaps Abe is too young to help with chores such as these. Never fear - hopefully someday this mother will learn.
