Well, Hannah's swollen eye is all due to a pesky mosquito bite under her eye. Poor her! She got 3 mosquito bites (2 on her face) when we went swimming. And even though she has done really well at not itching it, her poor eye is so puffy underneath. It was so swollen when she woke up this morning and her eye was all squinty.Despite her swollen eye, she has still been up for adventures. Yesterday we went to the library and picked out some new books. The kids got to pick out a little prize for the summer book reading program. And then we went to the mall where they have free summer activities. The kids got bead necklaces that turn colors in the sun, free ice cream from Cold Stone, a build-a-bear house to color, name tags, and a stamp on their hand. The Build-a-Bear character was there as well as Pablo for pictures. The kids were totally scared to stand by the characters but they bravely stood by me for a photo. Nice polaroid look here!! The kids had a fun time though!

Sounds like you guys are keeping extra busy with fun summer activities. How fun!!! You look totally great in the picture too. Cute hair, sunglasses, makeup, strategically placed purse, everything! Sorry about those pesky bug bites. Way to be brave Hannah.
Fun activities at the mall. Sounds like you had fun. Don't you wish that mosquitoes would just leave us alone. I can't believe it made her eye swell up like that. No fun.
Poor Hannah. Those nasty mosquitos get in the way of all the fun. I agree with Mary you look so cute, how do you do it? Anyway, the kids were in here while I was looking at your blog and they were so excited to see pictures of Hannah and Abe. They kept pointing them out, so I showed them as many pictures as I could. So fun that they remember them after only one day.
