Optimist's Creed

You may need to click on the image to see it larger or view the pdf here. Reading over this has reminded me about what optimism really is and how I can do better.

In other news...I went to the doctor today. I heard our baby's heartbeat which is always reassuring and fun. I'm 12 weeks along with only 27 more weeks to go. Phew - we can do this...we can do this...

Today was our adventure day. We headed to a Primary activity at the kids water park. Then we went to the mall where they had a free summer activity to decorate father's day hats. We ran into some gals from the ward and enjoyed a 2 for 1 kids icecream treat. And then we walked around the outside mall and once we finally figured out that when Abe said, "mountain', that he really wanted to see the fountain. And now we are enjoying QUIET time. Sigh...

Love that you got to hear the baby's heart! Keep a'goin', Heath. Fun activity, too (mountain/fountain, what's the difference? dirt/water)

I noticed your catch phrase: "sunny side." You are totally with it.

We are excited about your baby. Just think, you will have an ultra sound soon and that is always reassuring and fun too. It's always good to know that everything is going along normally. Have you read the Secret? I have been wanting to read it, but I haven't done much reading lately.
