97 years old

Saturday was President Hinckley's 97th birthday. That day he dedicated the BYU Alumni house named after him. He is the oldest living prophet in the latter-days. Amazing how he just keeps going and going and going. I love that President Hinckley is so humble, optimistic, yet realistic. I always loved seeing him and his wife together. Here are quotes I like from each (click to see larger):
How grateful I am to have a living prophet on the earth today.

I just love President Hinckley! The neighborhood I live in is the one he raised his family in. It has been so neat hearing stories about him as the stake president from several of the old people in my ward. And the cool thing is that they refer to him as Gordon.
