It's a jungle out there!

This week we bought some tasty Pears from Costco. I was amazed that I actually got some that weren't rotten and practically ripe. We have been enjoying them immensely! Eating pears has reminded me of the tastiest jellybeans around-Jelly Belly! I love the pear and peach and root beer flavors.Today was a sunny warm day. We went outside after dinner as a family to play basketball and run around. Aaah-choo! Aaahh Choo! I swept about 20 dead caterpillars off the porch as Hannah and Abe shrieked with fear at the 'bugs'. I suppose we won't have as many butterflies this year. Then I sprayed some of the weeds in our yard and came across this black and white snake.Tennessee is definitely a different world from Idaho. Our yard looks like a jungle and now we know that we have a pet frog and a pet snake and a bazillion caterpillars living in our yard. Anyone wanna come visit?!?!

I can't believe you had a snake! Eeek! I would be afraid of our kids ever leaving the door open if I lived in Tennessee. I would still love to come visit you, catapillars, snakes, frogs and all!

Yikes! Warm climate woes! But lots of pretty plants and flowers, too.

And--Jelly Belly jelly beans are supreme. I love all your favs and toasted marshmallow, caramel popcorn and tutti frutti.
