Top of the Mornin'

Here we are - a sunny Monday morning in Collierville. We have a toasty 47 degrees outside (30 degrees warmer than in Sugar City, ID at the moment). On the agenda today...laundry, laundry, and more laundry. When the mama is sick the laundry stacks up. Hopefully my 2 little helpers will help do some folding. I think I'm finally on the mend and have a bit more energy. Though I'm still in need of more energy and motivation to clean, I found some new products at Target that have been fun. I decided to try this mop. I already had the mop part for my wood floors but I got the microfiber pad for our tile. You just get it wet and spray the cleaner on the floor and mop away. I take the pad off and rinse it every once in a while so I'm not just spreading the dirt all around. And then you just toss the pad in the wash and it is reusable. It may not be the best substitute for hands and knees scrubbing but will work for most in-between jobs. And I like the microfiber cleaning cloths, dusting cloths, and that I found at Target too. Happy Cleaning!

I need to get a mop like this. I still mop on my hands and knees and have a hard time motivating myself to do it! It takes so long. We have hardwood through our entire first floor (Dave's idea) except the master bedroom. Yuck! And I'm glad you're feeling better. It's nice to have little helpers to fold the laundry. I have a pile of laundry on the bed that needs folding that's collected over the last few days (I'm so bad at getting it folded right out of the dryer, although that's my goal!). So that's what we'll be doing today too! My kids love to help put it away and it helps a ton! They run up and down the stairs putting away a couple shirts or pants at a time. It saves me from going up and down. It's great! Have a great day Heath!

I love the mop and cloths! They look great. You are a good cleaner, Heath. Well, I pull out what I need to hang up out of the laundry right away, but I save the rest so I have an excuse to watch a movie and fold laundry later! Twice a week--something to look forward to! Clean clothes -and- entertainment.

Isn't it sad when we're married with kids and new cleaning products excite us?? ;-) We use the Swiffer mop thingy now but I might have to try that one out.
