Simple Things

My kids have totally been making me laugh this week. I have been sick and my brain is fuzzy and I'm living in slow motion, but I've appreciated my kiddos being pretty chipper. Here are the highlights of the week:
1. Going out to see the moon and stars. Abe was jumping up and down at the excitement over seeing the moon. And Hannah thought it was so special to all sit as a family and look at the stars.
2. Abe hugging his Diego jammies and saying, "Ohhh, Go Diego Go."
3. Hannah making me about 10 get well notes. There was a superman and superwoman, me and hannah in a boat with seatbelts, a fairy, a clown, a Christmas tree, and an Easter Bunny. One day she put a small box of raisins inside one of the notes as a healthy treat for me.
4. Hannah jump roping and Abe being so excited about making a basket with the basketball and saying "I did it."
5. Abe learning to use new sounds in words like banana, hannah, and car.
6. Jimmy being the best husband ever.
7. Beautiful mornings and playing outside in the slightly warm weather.
8. Making flowers out of tissue paper for Jimmy for when he returned home from playing basketball. The kids thought they were so beautiful. Hannah said, "I think dad will love these flowers. Maybe he will think they are real."
Mostly I love that kids enjoy the simplest things and that they don't care about being fancy or trendy and they just enjoy life.

Aw, that was so sweet. It sounds like Hannah is really thoughtful. What a great gal to have around! I love their flowers. :)

Oh, Heath, loved the highlights of the week. What cute kids. I loved that Hannah thought Jimmy might think the tissue flowers were real. That is too cute! I love her jumproping and Abe's new words. Yay! Great job being such a great mom!
