Last night during scripture time, I was amazed by Nephi. He has such pure faith and the courage to act on that faith. This is evidenced in this scripture, "If God had commanded me to do all things, I could do them." 1 Nephi 17:50. And then I was amazed at his perspective and optimism in this scripture (immediately after being loosed from bands on the ship), "I did look unto my God, and I did praise him all the day long; and I did not murmur against the Lord because of mine afflictions." 1 Nephi 18:16. Wow! What an example of goodness!

I wanna be like Nephi...
