Simple Faith

Hello! What a weekend. Lots of tears and phone calls and prayers...for my dad (who had a mild heart attack on Saturday)...for my mom who is patiently waiting at a hospital in Iowa...for my family that our faith and prayers and fasting will strengthen my parents and that they can feel of our love over all the miles. WE LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!

Yesterday I took the kids to the park while Jimmy was sawing the boards for a shelf system. He finished his part - now I need to do the sanding and staining. Won't it be nice! Hannah loves her new ballet outfit. We're still working on getting appropriate sports outfits. :) Abe loves his batting tee (and his daddy to play with). Hannah and Abe played Dora and boots (and I was Abuela-grandma) at the park. Abe loves to follow Hannah around and attempt to say everything she does. My kids brightened my yesterday by giving me loves and reassuring me that everything would be okay because we said a prayer for Grandpa and Grandma. Children have such sweet simple faith. And yes - everything will be okay because I know the Lord is watching over us. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7.
