You might have to click on this to read it... As I was going through the files on my computer attempting to do some spring cleaning, I found this quote which was from a Relief Society lesson I taught years ago. I love piecing it all together to envision this as a cycle...Faith builds character - trials come - but with our faith and character we can better overcome - hence more faith and character is built. I love that! Now the hard part is to make all this happen in my own life. Sigh... Gratefully this is all a process of BECOMING! In other news...we enjoyed spending Christmas in Nauvoo with Grandma, Grandpa, and Jane & Seth. Miss Hannah was Mary in the nativity. Abe who was Joseph opted out after 5 minutes. Seth and Jane posed as very wise wisemen (loved the beard Seth). Jimmy was the lone shepherd while Grandpa narrated and Grandma orchestrated the musical numbers. Oh - and I was the angel. We enjoyed delicious meals diligently prepared by Grandma. It is always fun to have Scandinavian fruit soup at the holidays. We had a fun Christmas morning and then sent Jane and Seth on their way to warm and toasty Arizona. We four Smiths arrived home Tuesday night ready to snuggle in for a long winters nap. Today was spent attempting to clean and tidy and put our house back in shape. I'm afraid it is looking worse before it gets better. "There's always tomorrow where dreams do come true. Tomorrow is not far away." (What show is that song from?). So tomorrow we'll relocate and tidy some more. Oh Joy!

Character...Wise Men...Tomorrow
