Shhh...don't tell, but this is out little spiritual handout for Sunday's lesson in YW. The quote to go with it is this: "How marvelous a thing it is to contemplate that each of you is a daughter of God, a girl with a divine birthright and a divine destiny. . . Cultivate the light you have within you, and it will shine through as a radiant expression that will be seen by others." (President Gordon B. Hinckley Ensign, May 1995, 99). The theme for this 2006 year was "Arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations." D&C 115:5. I hope that each of the YW catches a glimpse of what she can be with that light of Christ shining through her.In other news...As I was laying in bed this morning with the covers over my head - not ready to face the day(I know - I needed to Arise and Shine forth), I heard Abe count to 13.... yes, 13!!! Ok - so he skipped 7 and 8 but I think he is secretly practicing his verbal skills. Once I went out to count with him, he wouldn't do it. Every time we say to him, "Abe, say Christmas," he says, "tree." At least he has worked out relationships between items like Christmas and tree. Ho-Ho-Ho, Merry Christmas (in 6 days)!
