Today I once again remembered why I really, really, really don't like going to the post office. I won't bore anyone with the details but suffice to say I came home more than slightly annoyed. Even though I only had Hannah with me and she was really good, my visit reminded me how hard it is to go to the post office with 2 toddlers. Sooooo... upon returning home I got online to check on a service my sister-in-law told me about....to have your postman pick up packages from your home. The only hitch is that you have to prepay, hence you must know what your package weighs. Why they don't just set up accounts like FedEx and just bill your credit card, I don't know. But since I hope to be mailing a lot of packages in the near future, I decided to invest in a USPS scale. I'm quite excited to never have to go to the post office again. And I bought stamps and a roll of Priority Mail stickers online too. So actually my annoying post office experience was a good thing because it brought me to this point of mailing things from home. And I can feel comforted in mailing things Priority Mail because I know it really goes through FedEx. Can you believe that USPS is FedEx's biggest customer? Gotta love it! In other news, Abe has a cold. Tonight he brought me a napkin to wipe his drippy nose. I suppose that is better than using the back of his hand. He also discovered where Hannah was keeping some Halloween candy. It was mighty quiet when we found Abe eating a big honkin' piece of gum in the closet. Hmmmmmm...
