Typewriters & Prayer

I don't have any wonderful photos to share so I thought I'd highlight this nice typewriter. Think about how far we've come from typewriters to digital scrapbooking on high-speed computers. I remember typing on typewriters and it is just a different experience now isn't it. On to more important matters... Hannah and prayers. Today during our lunch prayer she said she was grateful for the still small voice. And lately she has been grateful for eyes to see things. Last week after saying her personal prayer Hannah asked me if Heavenly Father could really hear her prayer. I told her that He could. She said, "But I can't hear Him." So, we've been trying to learn about the Holy Ghost and how to recognize the still small voice. I love when Hannah brings up these topics because it gives me a chance to think about what I believe and then figure out how to simply teach it to my children. Hopefully my kids will glean something from my words. Speaking of words, we've realized that Abe knows many more words than he says. I think someday he will become interested in speaking English. May that day be in the near future! Happy November 15th! Posted by Picasa

Heather, you have so much faith and are so sweet of a little mother. And what great little ones you have. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Abe started talking in paragraphs sometime. And Hannah is so insightful for a little squirt. Keep loving them along!
