Have you ever attempted to rake leaves with a 2-year-old? Well, today I attempted to gather the leaves and Abe attempted to spread them out. Overall, I think he was more successful. But one thing he was good at was putting the few leaves we did gather in the bag. He doesn't mind putting his hands in dirt and leaves. It really was a funny experience. When we finished I looked around and noticed there were more leaves scattered than when we started. But more leaves will fall so such is life. The shining moment of today was when Abe was outside riding his bike and running around and he just came over and gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. Now that is a miracle! There is sweetness inside Abe if you can look past the rough and tumble boy.
