On Monday Hannah was slightly discouraged about soccer and started to give up. So for FHE I found a summary of this book and printed out some pictures of trains. The next day at soccer camp she told me that when she had a hard time kicking the ball she said,
"I think I can, I think I can." Then the next day in the mail we got a copy of this book for the kids. We had signed up weeks ago for a free book program the state of Tennesse has for kids, and this is the book they happened to send. What appropriate timing! So our theme for Hannah has been to not quit and to be positive. Hmmm... I'm thinking I could use this lesson too.
