Yah Mahn!

Last night Jimmy and I watched Cool Runnings - about the first Jamaican Bobsled team. Any of you who have heard my Australian accent would probably be impressed by my Jamaican accent. Yah Mahn! (Ok - not really!) But it was a funny show to watch. With Sanka Coffee and Yul Brenner, I laughed quite a few times. And during the credits they played "I can see clearly now" which brought back a load of memories from Swing Choir. I'm hoping Mary will be up for a performance at the next family reunion. I'll play Mary, you can sing and dance. So it was a cultural evening with the Jamaican bobsled team and Reggae music at our house. Speaking of Reggae music. I remember when I was a Freshman at Ricks and our home evening brothers asked if we liked Reggae Music... and I don't think any of us Sugar City gals knew what they were talking about. Oh the days......
