There is still joy

Have you ever had one of those weeks that you want to start over. Yep, that would be this week. Nothing tragic, just lots of little things I would do differently. Like for instance:
1. Remember to input my mortgage payment in the register so I don't come up short and then eventually after a day of worrying, end up with $27 left till payday.
2. Get a grip on the household tasks.
3. Go into Urgent Care before 6 p.m. on Labor Day for a UTI/kidney infection. It's really not that easy to find a pharmacy open on a holiday after 7 p.m.
4. Parenting - Oh, let's just not go there today!

So is life terrible? - NOPE! There have been a lot of shining moments that I've tried to note.
1. While driving to find an open pharmacy I saw the most lovely pink sunset. I was wishing I had my camera.
2. Jimmy was an awesome husband to cover during all moments I didn't feel well. He's the best ever!
3. Abe saying "Sure" instead of yes. He says it so cheerfully.
4. Last night the moon was full and bright and lovely. I'm one of those people who loves to take photos of clouds, the moon, the stars. Night time photos of the sky really don't work too swell with my dinky camera. But it is fun to try to capture the moment.
5. I heard a song from high school called Angel by Jon Secada. I posted it on the song list on the right. Oh those highschool dance memories!!
6. I got up with the kids and we had hot chocolate and sat outside on the porch swing. And yes, it was cool. Hurray - autumn is on its way.

So - despite the frustrating moments and realizing I have infinite things to work on as a person, the simple beauties of life keep me going.
