Today before conference we went to a big recreation area. Hannah wanted to see the cotton candy fields...so we found a big white fluffy field to see the cotton. Amazingly enough - the cotton looks just like a cotton ball except with a bunch of big seeds in it. Then Hannah wanted to see the "caribou" which are actually buffalo. The buffalo must not have been feeling friendly and were in the middle of their field, but we could see them from afar off. The kids had a fun time. Then we watched conference on byutv.org. Lovin' that we can watch it at home. Hannah and I made a bead necklace and bracelet (as displayed in the bottom picture with the soccer ball). It really is hard to listen to the talks when a certain 3-year-old just can't stop talking for hardly a moment. But from what I heard, I loved conference. It is like a big healthy dose of the Spirit to bolster my own spirit. I definitely needed the parental patience message. I loved the missionary choir...what a great song too. Looking forward to another day tomorrow of General Conference.
