Abe has been loving' Nemo lately. He loves to look at the book, watch the movie, and snuggle his Nemo blankie, and he always is saying "Amo" for Nemo. So I thought it would be fun to gather some not-so-deep life lessons from Nemo.1. Even though Nemo isn't perfect (small fin), he has great potential. He ends up being a hero because he listened to others advice, he applied the principles he learned to life situations, and he gained confidence through hard work.
2. We can look to others who may have more life experience than us for counsel. A wise, calm friend can help us find the confidence & strength inside to make the right decisions in our life.
3. There are always sharks willing to drag you down. Never trust a shark. Just listen to the Spirit and choose the right so you won't go down with 'em.
4. Crush, the sea turtle, helps me realize that sometimes it can help a situation to stop all the needless worry, calm down, and just enjoy the MOMENTS that make life happy.
5. There are always those annoying situations that wear our patience down. But if we ignore them and become active in good pursuits, we won't notice the annoyances or faults of others as much.
6. It is always good to have a friend to cry with, to cling to in times of trouble. We NEED each other to make it through the tough times.
7. I think of all the characters in the Finding Nemo movie, I would choose to be Dory. Though she is silly and forgetful, she is kind and positive and a true-blue friend. Just keep swimming... just keep swimming... just keep swimming!!!
